Whether you are in university, medical school, a resident or practicing physician, there is an opportunity for you in the City of Kawartha Lakes.

The Kawartha Lakes Health Care Initiative (KLHCI), along with the Ross Memorial Hospital, works with the Rural Ontario Medical Program (ROMP) to provide elective opportunities to medical students and residents in family medicine and a variety of specialties. In addition, KLHCI hosts students from a different Ontario medical school each year for Rural Ontario Medicine Week.

Family practice opportunities, with options to suit all kinds of practice styles, are available throughout the City of Kawartha Lakes for new graduates or established practitioners.
